Hey there, I’m Lindsay Head. Yes, like your head. Crazy.
What’s up party people. I’m Lindsay Head. I’ve *branded* my *brand* after *shocking* numerous humanaliens with the info that my last name is Head. So, as a way to clear the ether, we (I) are (am) Yes, Like Your Head TM. I’m a professional actor and dancer living in Brooklyn, NY since 2014 after graduating from the University of Florida with a BFA Summa Cum Laude in Dance Performance. Go Gators. I don’t watch football.
2018 was a crazy year. I had the privilege of performing in Andrew Schneider’s AFTER at the Public Theater in their Under the Radar Festival in January, collaborated as a content creator and performer in his new work NERVOUS/SYSTEM at Bard College, MIT, Lumberyard Catskill, and BAM before our premiere in the BAM Next Wave Festival in December. Over the summer I performed in Faye Driscoll’s Thank You For Coming: PLAY at Jacob’s Pillow and in Montclair State University’s Peak Performance series. I was lucky enough to slip away to Maine to develop a new little something titled Y(ours) with dance maker Vanessa Anspaugh. I got to travel to the New Arts Center Kutztown, PA with the superhuman Beth Graczyk. Keith Herring painted the floor there y’all. Naturally, I lied on it for 20 minutes. I had an awesome part in the web series The Box, now on Amazon Prime in the episode “Magnum Lady,” and shot 3 episodes of Keeping Up with the… I mean Mysteries at the Museum on the Travel Channel. I probably forgot something.
2019 is coming in HOTTTTTTTTTTT with new opportunities just like my horoscope said!!!! I’m writing my first script, choreographing and acting in Cyclops Theater’s BAD EGG at the Tank in April, along with getting my hands dirty on a few other projects I can’t mention yet.
You can find the basics on here— the headshots, the resumes, the clips, the quotes from my dad— but, as we all know, this is curated virtual reality and you’re only getting a blip of who I am. SO SEND AN EMAIL, HELL, GIVE ME A CALL.
